Hi, I am Samuel Napp, CFP®, CPA.

I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), Certified Public Account (CPA), and owner of Boulder Financial Planning Co, a fee only fiduciary financial planning and investment management firm.

I work with individuals and families to accelerate their progress towards retirement and make retirement more fulfilling.

I’ve been doing this for nearly 20 years. I spent the first 5 years of my career in public accounting and the last 14 years as a financial advisor. Over that period of time, I’ve retired 60 times with my various clients. Most people only do it once — which is too bad: you get better with practice.

I’ve seen firsthand how the right plan can change a family's future. It’s my mission to share these lessons so you get there faster and succeed on day one of retirement.

I am tech-forward and highly organized. Many of my clients appreciate this because I am able to help them get organized and provide accountability to help them make progress.

Outside the office:

You’ll find me training for Masters Track and Field or coaching sports teams for my three boys. I was a Colorado 100m state champion and a Division I athlete. My love for the sport didn’t end when I turned 40. I am inspired by the extraordinary longevity and athletic achievements of athletes in their 60s, 70s, and beyond. I hope to one day following in their footsteps.

I am a proud Colorado native with a deep connection to Boulder County. I was born in Boulder and grew up in Hygiene. I met my wife, Kate, at Longmont High School, and today, the first of my three boys attends that very same high school.
